The 2012 conference promises to be bigger and better. Western Australia is the fastest growing capital city, and record investments from the public and private sector assist to identify, secure and plan for the infrastructure needs of the state well into 2031.

Western Australia is one of the most productive and diversified mineral and petroleum regions in the world. Together, resource, urban, rural and regional developments are providing industry with high prospects for the future. To service the needs of Australia’s largest export state, projects such as the Perth Waterfront, the Northbridge link and Pilbara Cities are creating opportunities for local businesses.

To meet the growing needs of the community and industry and with the transformation of the City of Perth, there will be an increased demand for public transport services, transport infrastructure, housing, health and education facilities, public works, water and energy infrastructure and urban developments. With plentiful projects, WA provides the ideal environment to capitalise on the exciting business opportunities being created.

The WA Major Projects Conference will provide its delegates with a platform to learn of the latest projects in place and the opportunities that exist to leverage off these major developments, whether proposed, ongoing or complete. An impressive line up of speakers from the public and private sector will deliver an informative and exciting program. The announcement of major projects and policies will enable the conference's high level attendees to better examine and identify the business and investment opportunities that are taking shape in their industries.

By providing a high-level forum for discussion, networking and doing business, this conference will help contractors, suppliers, and the public sector to work together in ensuring that WA is still the best place to live, invest and do business.

We look forward to seeing you at the WA Major Projects Conference.
